Inspiration for my designs come from my heart and soul and evolve as I begin to work. The thrill, the anticipation, and the urge to see the finished product keeps me spellbound, until the final piece emerges.
My adventure in beadwork began about 20 years ago when I received, as a gift, a pair of beautiful hand beaded earrings. I thought to myself, I could do that! I took a class in peyote stitch at my local bead shop, and the rest is history. I began a beading frenzy, so to speak, and was teaching classes myself within 6 months.
Beadweaving and bead embroidery speak to me like no other beading techniques. My own voice can be so freely expressed and each piece is unique. The process is challenging and rewarding each step of the way.
